The youpod contest “the most beautiful picture in

Düsseldorf”

In recent years the talent of photography has become widespread in all

countries, especially after the proliferation of smart phones and digital

cameras and their availability at affordable prices, allowing people to acquire

and use them.

Some young people

using smart phones, for example, get very beautiful pictures daily after they
have acquired a good skill through the daily use of their phone lens. But why we do not meet those talents? This is a question that should always be asked and

this should be taken seriously.

There are fake barriers that hinder amateur photographers to reach the stages

of fame for example or to get a job later! Personally, I have known some

refugee youngsters whose phones and computers contain a wide range of

professional images that they have acquired through their phones only! I

wondered, what are those pictures doing here? The answer was: What do we have

to do with them?

Some of them just

posted them on their personal accounts on Facebook or Instagram, and some of
them created a group on Facebook and the people daily publishes in that groups
dozens of photos. But this is not enough for a professional image taken by a
talented young photographer!

All this has been

considered by the Düsseldorfer Jugendportal youpod and they have tried to find
the appropriate ways to break down the artificial barriers that hinder refugee
talents in the field of photography. As a first and unique step, youpod organized a competition for young

refugees in Düsseldorf

to open some avenues for young people in the media world that young people for

a long time are looking for. On conditions consistent with the German media,

young refugees can overcome the obstacles that have long stood in their way.

The contestant

can send the most beautiful image he sees as a candidate to win, he can also
add some adjustments to them until they reach the level of competition with
other pictures.

This photo will

be published on youpod Refugee and will be visited by thousands of followers.
Participants can also join the editorial team and continue to practice these
skills on a regular basis, supervised by professionals and using the best
professional cameras. The website will also become the gateway to Düsseldorf.
The winner has enough time to roam around Düsseldorf and get thousands of
pictures and then select the most beautiful ones and send it to the website
(info@youpod.de) with some of his personal information, such as name and
address. After the deadline, the winners will be held in the first, second and
third place in the ZeTT Jugendinformationszentrum am HBF (Willi-Becker-Allee
10,40227 Düsseldorf) on 9. August 2017 at 18:30 o’ clock.

The winner of this competition will receive a digital camera as a promotional

prize for his picture, which surpassed the rest of the photos and selected by
professional photographers at the center, but the biggest prize for the winner
and all participants is the opportunity provided by the youth portal in

that the doors of fame and professional work have been opened to them.
